VFC 16A National went undefeated this weekend to win the Empire State Showdown tournament in Rochester, NY.
In the championship game, the team came back from a 2-0 deficit in first period to score 2 goals in the second. The game winning goal was scored with only 28 seconds left in the game.
Player of the weekend goes to Brett Rudinsky.
Brett was thrown into a center roll due to a lack of players for the tournament. Not only did Brett step up to the plate but his line had a combined 16pt for the weekend.
